  • Project Impact. The sixteen thousand square feet of retaining walls and a vehicular bridge are transformed from bland concrete to interesting visual references to the passage of time.
  • Features & Design Context. Thirty-six cast-stone modular bas-relief panels are placed in various combinations spanning the bridge and retaining walls. The aesthetics include quotations regarding the passage of time, large Roman clocks, a twenty-five-foot-high working sundial, and enormous leaves that appear to be scattered by the wind and passing vehicles.
  • Techniques & Requirements.
    • These custom-designed decorative concrete forms are created using normal construction methods.
